Course Requirements for an MDS Minor Students may receive a minor by taking the following courses:     Stat 31 and OR 41; and three courses from:     Stat 101, 102, 126, 127;     OR 140, 161, 162, 181, 183; that are not included in the student's major requirements. Of these five courses the student must pass four with a grade of C or better. There are numerous other subjects that fit well with the MDS program. For example, quantitatively inclined students interested in the following fields would find coordinating a major-minor or double major with MDS worthwhile.          Computer Science         Economics         City and Regional Planning         Environmental Science         Psychology         Business         Sociology
